Deevstock 2025 – A Weekend of Pure Magic
We can say this with absolute certainty — Deevstock 2025 was one of the most magical festival weekends we’ve ever had. And that’s saying something, because we’ve been to a lot of festivals!
From the moment we, *MagicAura DJs* (Lilly Jae & Mikki Tiamo), arrived at *Out to Grass* in Malvern after our trip from Leeds, we knew this was going to be special. The view as you crest the hill is stunning — camping areas and main stages laid out at the bottom, iconic white dome tents standing proudly as the beating heart of the dance floor, and the huge arts & crafts dome waiting to spark creativity.
The atmosphere was exactly what every festival lover dreams of: incredible music, beautiful people, and connections that feel instantly like family.
Friday Night – Taking the Vortex Stage
Our first musical encounter of the weekend was over at the Menagerie Stage, where the beautiful Dovetail delivered some lush, silky house grooves. It was the perfect welcome — warm, soulful, and setting just the right mood for the weekend ahead.
Over at the Vortex Stage, Friday’s lineup began with the Opening Ceremony, followed by Provoke, Jacki-E, Fireworks Factory, and Bric & Brac (Live).
At 22:30, it was our turn. We stepped up as MagicAura, taking the crowd on a Full-On Psytrance journey that had the tent nearly full from the very start. The energy was flowing both ways, and we loved every second — apart from when the smoke machine went rogue and filled the booth so much we couldn’t see the decks! Thankfully, Lilly’s trusty fan saved the day (and our eyesight). 🤣
After us, Valar and Alexstatic kept the Psytrance heartbeat strong, wrapping up an unforgettable first night. Huge thanks to Sam Parsley aka Dovetail for her support and also our brilliant Friday night stage manager (whose name sadly escapes us) for keeping everything running smoothly.
Saturday – Connections, Dancing & Pure Joy
Saturday’s Vortex lineup was a stacked musical feast, but after a steady and slow morning it was the section of the night that really got us moving — **Bad Tango**, **Funkmaster General**, **The Prophet**, **Nizan**, and **Psyclone**.
We spent most of the evening front and centre, lost in the music and surrounded by smiling faces. Mikki danced herself into blissful exhaustion — the kind of night where you lose all track of time.
Sunday – Chill, Create & Dance Some More…
After a nice slow, sunny morning (and the best festival showers ever — kept spotless by the amazing Out to Grass team), we joined the **Yurty Crafts willow weaving workshop**. We made two beautiful willow love hearts that now hang proudly in our motorhome *Poem*.
By the time Nick Hirst hit the Vortex stage, we were recharged and ready. His old-school trance set had us both dancing again in seconds. Later came Joseph Dooley, and then one of our Sunday highlights — Trickcycle, delivering a Psytrance set that was pure fire.
Meanwhile, over at the Menagerie Stage**, we caught Nikon Faith’s set, which was fresh, creative, and full of surprises — but the night’s final knockout came from Vylan. An exceptional drum & bass set didn’t just close Sunday — it blew the doors off. Relentless, high-energy, and technically flawless, it sent the crowd home buzzing.
Deevstock, An Inclusive Festival Like No Other
By Monday, we were happily exhausted — sore legs, aching hips, and full hearts.
A special thank you goes to everyone who made Deevstock possible — Special Thanks to Deev, Ben, Phill, Bane, Sam Parsley, and our Friday stage manager — for keeping us informed, supported, and welcomed from the moment our application was accepted.
What makes this festival so special isn’t just the music or the setting — it’s the ethos. Deevstock is built on inclusivity and diversity, and from the very first moment, we felt completely accepted, embraced, and celebrated by a community of people we had never met before. That feeling is rare, and it’s priceless.
Until Next Year…
We may have missed a few things (like the Saturday afternoon activities and fireworks), but what we experienced was pure joy from start to finish.
Please forgive the delay in getting this written up — it’s been sitting in draft since the event in May. Once we returned home, life took over with work, family, and DJ commitments, and our feet barely touched the ground. But as the saying goes, better late than never!
So thank you, Deevstock, for the flawless organisation, the stunning location, the incredible lineup, and above all, the sense of belonging you give to everyone who attends.
We’ll see you in 2026 — and if it’s anything like this year, we know it’s going to be epic.
